Presented material aimed at remediation for summer school students.  Collaborated with a content cohort in the development of lessons, participation in reflective activities, and pedagogical discussions.  Attended seminars in classroom design, curriculum planning, management, and content area (social studies) as determined by the Teach For America program.

Responsible for assisting, monitoring, and teaching students with multiple disabilities as they engaged in their daily activities; including hygiene, chores, school classes, mealtime, recreation, and counseling.  Performed daily record keeping pertaining to individual medical concerns, social interactions, and behavior modification plans to be communicated to direct supervisors, physicians, and therapists.  Worked with students in groups and individually to promote empowerment and confidence in relationship building, group involvement, conflict resolution, self-management, and individual self-initiative.  Additionally, responsible for all training, documentation, and reporting related to physical, emotional, sexual abuse or act of omission to the Disabled Person’
s Protection Commission.
